Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a pediatric and adult critical care setting. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within a Level II trauma facility. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/18/2027, with a rotating shift pattern and a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027.


• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, CRT (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Respiratory Therapy Tech (RRT)) preferred. A valid state license (compact license accepted) must be in hand for Auto Offer. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience. No prior experience required.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I ventilators, and familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment such as high flow, NIV, nitric oxide, and jet ventilators.


• Additional Information: The role involves managing all levels of respiratory therapies including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, and Flolan nebulizer. Clinicians may float within scope to NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU to meet clinical needs. Candidates must be flexible to work 2 or 3 major holidays, including Christmas, and have availability during scheduled times.
