Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in Decatur, Georgia. This role involves supporting advanced interventional vascular procedures within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers scheduled shifts and on-call responsibilities, with opportunities to work with specialized equipment and complex cases.
Job Details:
- Location: Decatur, Georgia
- Schedule: 10 Days; 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARRT Radiologic (with vascular or cardiovascular credential) or RCIS; graduate of an accredited school in radiologic or cardiovascular technology; at least 1 year of experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active license required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred; intermediate knowledge of x-ray equipment and troubleshooting skills; experience assisting with complex procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, FEVAR; familiarity with specialty devices such as laser, Penumbra, Inari, and Shockwave; skilled in vascular anatomy and sterile technique; effective communication skills with team and patients.
- Additional Information: The role includes assisting in advanced procedures, equipment troubleshooting, procedural charging, managing access sites, understanding radiation safety, and working with various devices and techniques essential to interventional radiology.
