Ultrasonographer Echo (Cardiac Sonographer) in Wheeling, West Virginia. Job Details:

• Location: Wheeling, West Virginia


• Certifications & Education Requirements: Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography (AE) via the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); minimum of 2 years of experience in the last 2 years; valid license to submit (willing to wait).


• Schedule: Rotating shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including 8- or 9-hour shifts with on-call duties from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and 24-hour weekend and holiday coverage. Shifts include 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour days, Monday through Friday.


• Responsibilities: Performing a variety of echocardiographic studies such as adult and pediatric echos, transesophageal echos (TEE), and stress echos. The average caseload ranges from 35 to 50 studies per day, depending on staffing.


• Additional Information: The facility operates a 24/7 in-house radiology service or on-call after hours with vascular and cardiology specialists. Inpatient and outpatient coverage with floor-specific orientation provided. Scrubs should present a neat, professional appearance.


• Submission Requirements: All submissions must include a copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license and disclose licensing hits at the time of submission.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.
