Registered Cardiac Sonographer

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with options for 4x10's or 5x8's. On-call nights and weekends will rotate with staff.

The Registered Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiography procedures, including Adult and Pediatric Echocardiography, TEE, and Stress Echo tests. The role requires adherence to all facility protocols and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

• Conduct a high volume of echocardiographic studies (35-50 studies per day).


• Maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty.


• Collaborate with physicians, including cardiologists and vascular surgeons, for study interpretation.


• Participate in rotation for on-call coverage as required.


• Perform duties in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Minimum of 1 year of active scanning experience in the last 2 years.


• BLS Certification from AHA.


• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with specialization in Adult Echocardiography via ARDMS.


• ARDMS, RCS, or equivalent certifications required.


• Additional certification in pediatric echo (PE) is preferred but not mandatory.
