Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Grand Junction, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The CT Technologist position is located in a healthcare setting, performing computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This role requires the use of independent judgment and technical expertise to deliver high-quality scans, supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: - Certification: ARRT (R) (CT), BLS (AHA), Radiation Badge. - Education: Associate degree. - Licensure: Licensure in the state of practice as applicable. - Experience: 2 years of CT and acute care experience preferred; minimum of 0 years required. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) to Two (2) years CT experience and one (1) to Two (2) years healthcare setting experience. Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency. Demonstrates proficiency in operating CT equipment and understanding of imaging techniques and protocols. Knowledge of contrast administration, including contrast injector operation. Proficiency with electronic imaging systems including image viewing, transfer, and manipulation. Recognizes emergent patient situations and responds appropriately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and task prioritization skills. Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. Follows proper infection control and sterile techniques. Keeps accurate records of patient procedures and adverse reactions. Administers contrast media under physician supervision, following safety protocols, and educates patients on contrast safety. Participates in continuing education to stay current with advances in CT technology and protocols.
