Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist in Lewes, Delaware. This position involves overseeing invasive and interventional cardiac and vascular programs, including electrophysiology (EP). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role demands strong leadership, clinical expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Location: Lewes, Delaware
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); active license to submit; minimum of 3 years experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory; clinical experience with electrophysiology preferred; management and clinical experience in Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Labs.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Oversight of Invasive/Interventional Cardiac and Vascular services and Electrophysiology programs; clinical operations management; equipment and inventory management; technology assessment and implementation; evaluation and recommendation of technology needs; development and implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Leadership and Education: Maintain a focus on continuous staff education; assess clinical nursing practices and identify needs or gaps; ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards such as AACPVR and Intersocietal Commission accreditations.
- Additional Information: Must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training, and experience.
