Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting paralegals and attorneys with a wide range of administrative and case management tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player with a great attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal setting. Responsibilities
· Scan, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including certified and FedEx
· Maintain and organize digital case files in our legal case management system
· Redact and bates-label documents for discovery
· Schedule and confirm client appointments, including depositions and mediations
· Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients; relay filings and updates as needed
· Update case records, contact info, and ensure accuracy of data in our systems
· Support client intake: schedule consultations, process payments, check in clients, and send reminders
· Assist with office operations, including errands, supply runs, and other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications
· Proficiency with computers and software (Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook, Word, and Calendar)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines
· Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in a legal or administrative support role
· Familiarity with State and Federal Court systems
· Experience with Clio or other legal case management software
Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
· Monday–Thursday: 9:00AM–5:00PM; Friday: 9:00AM–3:30PM
· Hourly wage: $20–$25; will commensurate with experience or qualifications
