Croley Insurance and Financial is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our property and casualty team.
This position will help service and manage our personal insurance customers while supporting our agents with new business, renewals, and day-to-day policy needs. We are looking for someone who communicates well, pays attention to details, and enjoys helping people.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions regarding their home, auto, renters, and other personal insurance policies
- Process policy changes, payments, cancellations, reinstatements, and other service requests
- Prepare personal-lines quotes for new and existing customers
- Review upcoming renewals and assist with remarketing accounts
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, billing, and coverage questions
- Attach documents, emails, and customer information accurately in the agency management system
- Follow up with customers, agents, and insurance companies as needed
- Help maintain accurate and organized customer files
- Provide friendly and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person
- Work with other team members to make sure customer needs and agency priorities are handled promptly
Commercial Lines Cross-Training
The person hired for this position must be willing to cross-train in commercial lines insurance. Cross-training may include assisting with commercial policy service, certificates of insurance, policy changes, renewals, and other commercial account needs. Previous commercial-lines experience is helpful but not required.
Qualifications
- Previous insurance or customer-service experience is preferred
- Missouri Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred; however, we may consider the right candidate who is willing to obtain a license
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working with computers, email, and agency management systems
- Ability to pay close attention to details and follow through on assignments
- Willingness to learn, accept direction, and work as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle customer information professionally
