CNC Machine Operator
Department: Manufacturing | Type: Full-Time, Onsite | Experience: 2 Years Preferred
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Day and night shift available.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma/GED
- One or more years of CNC machine experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- One or more years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and/or manufacturing specifications
- Oen or more years of experience using precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Technical diploma, certificate, or vocational training in CNC machining or manufacturing
- Experience making tool offsets and basic machine adjustments
- Working knowledge of G-code and basic CNC program edits
- Experience performing inspections and documenting quality results

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing/shop setting. Employees may be exposed to machinery, noise, and production materials. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided.
