Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while maintaining strict infection control standards.
- Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform chairside assisting with aseptic technique, vital signs measurement, and medical documentation to support patient safety and care quality.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, and managing medical records with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
