Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for installing and servicing Croft Production System products. At all times the Service Technician must meet applicable standards and requirements set forth through CROFT and International Organization of Standardization (ISO 9000/9001/9004).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders, conduct tests, and resolve concerns.
• Service equipment by using tools, manage assigned truck inventory, and assist other Technicians with service routes.
• Perform monthly service checks on units and processing equipment.
• Maintains great rapport with customers, follow operation instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, report, logs and records.
• Map out routes; Operate Crane for Service Truck. (Overnight travel required).
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and in safe operation with recorded maintenance logs. Complete weekly company service vehicle washes.
• Utilize internal software and technology (Outlook, Microsoft systems, tablets, smartphones, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with company policy's and all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as related to job function.
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to support senior management goals to produce positive business outcomes aligned with organizational strategic initiatives and goals to include ISO standards.
• Perform job in a safe manner, and ensure a safe workplace; including reporting unsafe work conditions and safety violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational/Training/Experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; OSHA and Safety certifications preferred; ISO 9000/9001/9904 experience and working knowledge preferred.
License/Certification:
- Must complete safety and certification training on an annual basis and complete and successfully pass internal modules within 90 days of introductory period of employment.
Experience:
- No experience necessary. Service experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
- Proficient in job related tools and software/e-technology/cloud based solutions.
- Ability to communicate and respond to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner; multi-task and remain detailed and organized; maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Consistently demonstrate a strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas with the principles of continuous improvement.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Must have valid state issued Driver’s License as required to drive 100% on company business. (Routes assigned range from North, South, East, or West Texas). On-Call Rotation required for role.

The work is primarily performed in an outdoor/manufacturing/production setting with loud noise levels. This job requires the employee drive to be outside and in production areas; stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs/ladders; reach overhead; balance; stoop; kneel; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee should never attempt to lift more than 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
