Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.-

Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required.-

Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed.-

Process required paperwork throughout the day (time reporting, truck reports, scale tickets).-

Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns.-

Visually inspect mix for proper materials, verify load size to the ticket, check for the proper slump, and adjust accordingly.-

Deliver concrete using the most efficient route as directed by the dispatcher or Plant Manager.-

Must wash out the box, fuel truck, clean truck, and complete end-of-day truck inspection.-

Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e., work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).

Class B CDL and current Medical DOT card.-

Mechanical background and skills.-

Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.-

Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.-

A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.-

Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.-
