What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Helper position at Croc line?
Job Duties
Assist technicians with daily shop operations and projects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
Clean, inspect, and organize tools and shop equipment.
Receive, stock, and organize inventory and supplies.
Prepare materials for fabrication, assembly, or repair.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
Perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Dispose of scrap materials and waste according to company procedures.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and deliveries as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous shop, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
