Superintendent - Responsibilities:
The Superintendent's primary duty is to assist the Regional Director of Maintenance in their duty by leading the Maintenance Team to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and team members by maintaining the physical integrity of the property.
- Maintain the physical condition of entire property.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team.
- Maintain relationships with other team members and residents, suppliers, vendors, and professionals servicing the company or property.
- Diagnose and performs all minor, major, and routine maintenance.
- Handle inventory.
- Ensure preventative maintenance and safety protocols are established and met.
- Report to Regional Director of Maintenance.
Superintendent - Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years full-time maintenance experience.
- Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate team.
- Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and various appliances.
- Willingness to perform tasks required and to learn and grow.
- Confident, positive attitude, good communications skills, and an ability to interact with a wide range of people.
