Responsibilities:
The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours each day, for a total of 16 hours per week. There is potential for the schedule to increase to include weekday hours in the near future.
- Provide personal care services to patients in their homes with professionalism and compassion.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Reminding medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, following proper protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and other health indicators.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or errands.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date documentation of care and services provided.
- Uphold HIPAA standards by safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Ability to plan and prepare healthy meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and basic healthcare protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent quality care.
