Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify entry points and wildlife activity.
- Install exclusion devices such as barriers, vents, and one-way doors using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Apply pest control chemicals responsibly following pesticide management protocols, including chemical agent handling and pesticide application knowledge.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, equipment, and team members to job sites.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including site assessments, exclusion installations, chemical treatments, and follow-up visits.
- Communicate clearly with customers about treatment plans, exclusion techniques, safety precautions, and ongoing maintenance recommendations.
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience in lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or similar fields is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or other equipment.
- Knowledge of ladder safety procedures and ladder use for accessing hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Familiarity with pest control practices including chemical handling, pesticide management, integrated pest management (IPM), and pest control chemical application.
- Understanding of wildlife behavior and entomology to effectively address exclusion challenges.
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols such as confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and communication.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
