Position Overview

The Junior Recruiter/Recruiter Admin will provide day-to-day support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and broader HR function. This role combines recruitment coordination, candidate engagement, and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth hiring processes and efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their career in recruiting and HR.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • Assist recruiters with posting job requisitions on job boards, LinkedIn, and the company careers site.
  • Source entry-level and junior candidates through job boards, databases, and social media.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens for selected roles.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers; manage calendar coordination.
  • Support candidate communication, ensuring timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
  • Help maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) data integrity, ensuring all candidate records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare recruiting reports and dashboards (e.g., open requisitions, time-to-fill metrics, candidate pipeline tracking).
  • Manage new hire documentation and coordinate with HR for smooth onboarding.
  • Support HR with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and policy documentation.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates and/or hiring managers, when needed.
  • Assist with scheduling team meetings, preparing agendas, and note-taking.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with ATS systems UKG.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
