Primary Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of control systems and equipment.
- Help set up tools, materials, and work areas at job sites.
- Perform basic low-voltage wiring, conduit installation, and equipment mounting under supervision.
- Support testing and troubleshooting of sensors, actuators, and networked controllers.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Document work performed and assist with job site reports.
- Travel to various customer or project sites as required.
- Some experience or training in controls or electrical work (e.g., trade school, vocational program, or on-the-job).
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools used in controls installation.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to work outdoors and in various environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in tight spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or other safety certifications.
- Basic knowledge of controls systems and safety practices.
- Experience reading wiring diagrams and control schematics.
