Lead Technician - Restoration/Remediation

Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Direct Hire

Location: On-Site, Petaluma, CA

Reports to: Field Supervisor

Travel: As needed for Large-Loss/CAT

Comp: $27-$35/hr Performance Bonus - Plenty of opportunity for O/T

As a 24/7 emergency service, our lead technicians are ready at a moment's notice to be dispatched and help. You will be put in challenging situations, crawlspaces, hot attics, sewage backups, etc. at off hours and during holidays. It's hard work.

What your job looks like:

• Take charge of emergency water damage jobs from initial response to completion
• Respond to emergency water damage jobs quickly and professionally
• Take the lead in client communication, offering reassurance, updates, and expert advice throughout the recovery process
• Use moisture meters and other tools to map out the water and talk with the project manager on a game plan
• Educate and inform the homeowners on the process.
• Set up equipment to help dry the building
• Set up containment and demolition if anything needs to be cut and pulled up
• Document and fill out paperwork on each jobsite. Maintaining a detailed record of the recovery process
• Maintain a fully stocked, clean, and prepared company vehicle at all times.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to address after-hours emergencies
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years in the services or construction industry is preferred
• Fluent in English
• Valid driver's license and able to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead
• Demonstrated trainability and commitment to ongoing professional development
• Professionalism, friendliness, and a strong sense of responsibility

As a national employer, we consider numerous factors when determining compensation, including the specific job responsibilities, your geographical location, and your level of experience. For this role, we estimate a target pay range and budget of $27-$35/hr with performance bonus and plenty of opportunity for O/T
