We’re looking for a Dental Patient Care Coordinator who loves helping people, owns the front-office flow, and keeps the schedule humming.
What You’ll Do
- Be the warm, professional first point of contact (in-person, phone, text/email).
- Manage the schedule to daily/weekly production goals; minimize no-shows and gaps.
- Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and enter breakdowns accurately.
- Present treatment plans, review fees/benefits, and arrange financial options.
- Collect copays and balances; post payments; support A/R follow-up as needed.
- Maintain recall/hygiene reactivation and new-patient onboarding pipelines.
- Keep patient records accurate and compliant (HIPAA/OSHA).
- Coordinate referrals, specialist communications, and lab/clinical timing.
- Support marketing efforts: reviews, reactivation campaigns, community outreach.
You’re a Great Fit If You
- Have 1–2 years in a dental front office (Patient Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator/Front Desk).
- Know one or more dental PMS systems ([Open Dental / Dentrix / Eaglesoft]).
- Understand PPO/fee-for-service basics; Medi-Cal knowledge is a plus.
- Communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and handle sensitive finances with tact.
- Are detail-driven, punctual, and calm under pressure.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Associate’s or dental admin training a plus)
- HIPAA/OSHA familiarity; TB/CPR up to date (or obtained within 30 days)
- Ability to sit/stand, use a computer/phone, and lift up to 20 lbs

- Mon–Thu 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am–2:00 pm
