Job Summary
Crispy Cones is seeking friendly, energetic, and motivated individuals to join our team! Team Members are responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing our signature soft-serve cones, maintaining a clean work environment, and working collaboratively with team members. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy a fast-paced, team-focused atmosphere and take pride in creating high-quality desserts.

Should be available to work on one of the weekend days.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and serve handcrafted cones and soft-serve creations with attention to detail and presentation.

• Bake cones according to company standards.

• Interact positively with guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience. This includes greeting guests warmly, offering product recommendations, efficiently taking orders, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

• Address basic guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to a Shift Lead or General Manager.

• Maintain a clean and organized prep, service, and cooking area throughout the shift.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as needed.

• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for day, evening, and night shifts, including Sundays.

Desired skills and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in an ice cream store, especially swirling soft-serve ice cream required.

• Basic understanding of food handling and safety procedures.

• Familiarity with fast-paced service environments preferred.

• Awareness of cleanliness standards in food service operations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.

• Attention to detail in product preparation and customer service.

Abilities

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks consistently.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities during a shift.

• Must be able to work weekends and assist with opening and closing shifts.

• Must be at least 18 years old in accordance with applicable federal labor laws.
