Job Summary:
Crispy Cones is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead and elevate the company’s marketing strategy across all channels. This position must be able to lead individuals and teams within the marketing department, including digital marketing, brand experience, and social media. The Director of Marketing will drive brand growth through data-informed campaigns, ensure alignment with company goals, manage the marketing budget, and optimize return on investment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the marketing team across multiple functions including digital strategy and social media.
- Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that support brand growth, product launches, and community engagement.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, including campaign timelines, deliverables, and team responsibilities.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics of all marketing initiatives, including campaign results, digital engagement, and conversion rates.
- Evaluate the ROI of paid advertising efforts and make data-driven adjustments to improve performance and effectiveness.
- Provide reporting on marketing KPIs, campaign insights, and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
- Act as a key point of contact for franchisees, conducting regular meetings and maintaining open lines of communication to support their marketing success and brand alignment.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company vision.
- Manage the overall marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead marketing training sessions for new franchisees prior to store openings, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and strategies needed to launch successfully.
- Present the company’s marketing vision, brand strategy, and support systems to prospective franchisees during Discovery Day to inspire confidence and alignment with brand standards.
- Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
- Complete or delegate tasks associated with campaigns to ensure successful and timely execution.
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategy across digital, traditional, and experiential platforms.
- Strong knowledge of brand positioning, consumer behavior, and market segmentation.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
- Understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Knowledge of franchised business models and localized marketing strategies is a plus.

- Experience in retail, food service, or franchise-based environments preferred.
