Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks and delivery vans, to transport appliances to customer locations.
- Execute appliance deliveries efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Install a variety of appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers following manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and ladders to assemble and install appliances accurately.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of appliances post-installation to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction.
Skills
- Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency with ladder use and various hand tools and power tools required for installation tasks.
- Experience with appliance repair, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing maintenance or repairs on-site.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, equipment repair, and operational troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in compliance with transportation regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Familiarity with field service operations involving delivery trucks such as box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing connections, and basic mechanical systems relevant to appliance installation.
