Evening or weekend activities may be required. POSITION SUMMARYThe Marketing & Engagement Coordinator supports marketing, communications and community engagement efforts across the organization. The Coordinator assists with efforts including creation and updating of collateral materials, PPTs, social media, website maintenance, advertising, policies, and documentation. The Coordinator schedules, tracks, attends and reports on community events, including fairs, festivals, presentations and trainings. The Coordinator updates, tracks and facilitates the distribution of marketing materials and items, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and those requesting materials.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Community Outreach: · Organize, track and coordinate community events on behalf of Crisis Connections.· Communicate with external and internal audiences, respond to inquiries and schedule logistics necessary for event attendance.· Communicate and recruit staff or volunteers to attend each event, coordinate materials, tracking back after the event and coordinate all event logistics.· Oversee all outreach materials, swag and tabling items and coordinate staff to ensure materials are organized, replenished and accessible for the entire organization.· Attend and help execute events as needed including all logistics, ensure proper tracking, smooth operations, accuracy and excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders. · Prepare and deliver materials for community events across King County and other neighboring areas like Pierce County and Everett (80% in King County)· Assist with implementation of a Community Ambassador program including documenting roles & responsibilities, job descriptions, program coordination and communication, training, scheduling, tracking and supporting of Ambassadors.Marketing· Support the Director of Marketing & Engagement with external communications, graphic design, website maintenance, social media, content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies.· Support campaign performance tracking by analyzing and reporting on digital engagement, website traffic, SEO performance, and outreach effectiveness.· Respond to marketing emails and process requests for materials, providing communication and follow-up to internal and external stakeholders and ensure materials are printed, shipped and tracked.· Support the creation of an annual calendar for all external communications. Administrative Tasks· Schedule meetings, attend and facilitate notes for marketing and community engagement meetings as needed.· Respond to correspondence from external clients, ensuring timely follow-ups, and answering questions with clarity and precision.· Serve as the primary point of contact for department marketing and community engagement purchases, expense reports, budgeting and budget to actual tracking.· Update workflows, policies, and procedures to contribute to process improvements. · Perform database entry, maintain documentation, and ensure internal stakeholders are supported, trained and executing database updates themselves QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience & Knowledge1 years of experience in marketing, social media, community engagement or a related field preferred but not requiredProfessional experience posting on social media or creating content, and adhering to organizational policies, procedures and guidelines is requiredDemonstrated understanding and experience in graphic design, and tabling at events is desiredExperience collaborating with community partners, internal teams, and volunteersKnowledge of nonprofit, fundraising, mental health, crisis intervention, or telephone helpline environments is a plus.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools like Monday.com.Experience with CRMs, email marketing platforms, and basic data reporting.Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, content management systems (CMS), and digital analytics.Soft Skills & AttributesExcellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiencesStrong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detailCollaborative and adaptable, with experience working across teams and community groupsCommitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all engagement strategies to create inclusive content, build diverse community partnerships, expand diverse equitable volunteer and staff recruitment, and support organizational initiatives that advance belonging and accessibility.Additional RequirementsReliable personal transportation is required for attending events and community engagement activities. A Washington State driver’s license and insurance are preferred.Requirements:Computer Skills Assessment: Crisis Connections requires a basic Computer Skills assessment to measure computer literacy and skills. The assessment is approximately 15 minutes in length, and timed. HR will provide a link to complete the test after screening qualified candidates.This assessment will be completed on the candidate's personal computer.
