Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross sell products
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
• Conduct inside sales efforts, including cold calling potential customers to generate leads.
• Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Skills

• Strong inside sales skills with the ability to engage clients through cold calling techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the company and clients.
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and customer data to inform sales strategies.
• Technical sales experience is a plus, particularly in understanding complex products or services.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clientele.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
