Job Summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for a sales estimating coordinator to create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing of precast concrete structures. They translate designs into shop drawings that guide manufacturing. Responsibilities include preparing drawings, reviewing project documents, and coordinating with team members.
Job Location
This position will be at our location in Raleigh, NC.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing submittal drawings and production drawings for precast concrete components like storm water catch basins, drop inlets, sanitary manholes as well as specialty structures
- Reviewing and analyzing construction documents, including specifications and addenda
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure accuracy and consistency of designs
- Assisting with material take-offs, hardware details, and other tasks related to the precast production process
- Checking drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards
- Making necessary changes to drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or the production team.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or, equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of precast concrete design and construction principles
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Programs (word, excel, outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
