Job Summary
Oversees a section of the production crew and is responsible for maintaining duties as a laborer as well as the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Participate and be prepared for morning huddles
- Responsible for keeping area organized, stocked, and supplied
- Keep whiteboard accurate and up-to-date
- Order tools and supplies needed for the week
- Ensures that good housekeeping and safety regulations are maintained in their section of the shop floor
- Train employees on the CAST system, flow and process of the factory and other processes as needed
- Lead a team of employees
- Additional duties may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year related experience or equivalent training
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Knowledge of basic tools
- Strong leadership abilities
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Compensation
- The hourly pay rate for this position is $25-28/hr.
- Vacation hours of two weeks per year
- Sick leave benefits up to 56 hours per annum
