Position Overview
Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Help maintain accuracy with legacy time entry systems fed into Workforce Software through integrations and identify and resolve issues as necessary
- Manage the employee point rewards system to ensure proper posting of taxable wages, payments to terminated employees and applying the regular rate of pay when applicable.
- Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
- Manage system data such as updating business cost centers
- Manage employee state withholding tax defaults
- Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
- Assists management and the payroll team as necessary

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software (Command Alkon); Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
