They are seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to support financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance across a multi-entity, project-based business.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical accounting and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee month-end close, revenue recognition, WIP accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Support audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues while enhancing accounting policies and processes.
- Partner with accounting and operational leaders to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical accounting expertise.
- Experience with GAAP, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and project-based accounting.
- Construction or engineering industry experience preferred.
- Public accounting and/or audit experience is a plus.
