Responsibilities
- Designing Solutions
- Apply Salesforce technical knowledge to work with other engineers to deliver outcomes
- Participate in low level design for the product area/within the team
- Ability to work and problem solve collaboratively on initiatives that align to the broader software engineering strategy
- Implementing Solutions
- Use independent, critical thinking to solve complex Salesforce requests which are significant to the customer
- Member of the team that can work collaboratively, developing core technology solutions for the product that delivers outcomes
- Learning and Applying New Techniques
- Seek out opportunities to learn new Salesforce technologies that improve the product and its lifecycle
- Self-starter mentality with ability to learn new features and keeping up-to-date with the Salesforce ecosystem releases
- Collaborating within Team
- Participate in team’s collaboration sessions to provide technical expertise to solve a problem/remove technical roadblocks for the team
- DevOps
- Participate in the team support rotation and build knowledge on focus subsystems
- Support and/or develop an environment in which employees and colleagues are focused on continuous improvement, exceptional employee engagement, and an unwavering commitment to our clients
- Shape and/or support a culture that represents the purpose, promise and values, ensuring that company trust and reputation remain strong with its clients
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of Salesforce apex experience (triggers, REST API, classes, async tooling)
- Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
- Knowledge of systems and software design concepts, object-oriented programming
- Knowledge/experience with querying databases for data lookup/update (SOQL, SOSL, SQL)
- Financial Services industry experience
- Salesforce platform developer 1 and/or admin certifications
