Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Type: Full time permanent employment.
Shift: M-F 40 hours per week Overtime available!
Pay: $25-$35 per hour (DOE) Excellent Benefits package!
Job Duties:
- Install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, dampers, and related HVAC components according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure sheet metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
- Install HVAC air distribution systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.
- Seal, insulate, and test duct systems to ensure proper airflow and energy efficiency.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Perform field modifications and troubleshoot installation issues as needed.
- Operate lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
- Verify material quantities and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure installations meet project requirements.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites.
- Complete daily work reports and communicate project progress to supervisors.
- Participate in project meetings and training programs as required.
Requirements:
- 5 years of HVAC experience
- Must work well with others and be a team player
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Capable of reporting job progress to the Superintendent
- Must have own hand tools
- Great attitude
- Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules
- Be able to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week with the flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
