Position Summary
Swedberg Electric is seeking a seller/doer professional who can both develop business and help drive project execution. This role combines client development, estimating support, project coordination, and account management for commercial electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with commercial clients and contractors
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
- Assist in estimating, scope development, and proposal preparation
- Support preconstruction planning and project kickoff activities
- Manage customer communication throughout project execution
- Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and operations teams to support successful delivery
- Assist with change orders, budgeting, scheduling, and project follow-up
- Grow repeat business through high-touch account management
- Support both service work and larger project opportunities
- Maintain pipeline activity and contribute to sales growth goals
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial electrical contracting, project management, estimating, or construction sales
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and project delivery
- Ability to both develop business and support execution
- Experience reading plans/specifications and participating in estimating is preferred
- Strong client management, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-starter with both sales and operational mindset
