POSITION SUMMARY
Provides customer service within a defined customer base while conferring with necessary departments across the organization to
ensure customer expectations are met.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manages customer base and provides service that meets or exceed expectations.
* Coordinates with various departments in order to develop and maintain profitable traffic lanes.
* Solicits outbound freight for both primary and secondary lanes.
* Enters available loads with all required information to properly dispatch and pick up the load, create the freight bill, and supply the
customer with any necessary EDI information.
* Schedules loading and unloading appointments in order to meet customer requirements and to maximize driver productivity.
* Monitors all customer specific loads for service issues from the time the load is tendered until it is delivered.
* Discusses customer issues and concerns with the appropriate operations and sales departments when necessary.
* Monitors customer specific trailer poos and confers with appropriate personnel as needed.
* Reviews customer scorecards with customer development leaders and makes recommendations accordingly.
* Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Receives and carries out instructions.
* Manages regular and predictable attendance.
* Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at times.
* Ability to travel as needed.
