Educational Assistant Supervision-Creslane Elementary School (2 hours/day)

Creswell School District is seeking highly skilled candidates for an Educational Assistant Supervision position (2 hours per day) to join the outstanding staff at Creslane Elementary School.

This position is open until filled. Applicant screening begins August 10th.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a safe and stimulating environment for students

Duties may include:

• Supervising students in various areas as assigned by principal (e.g., cafeteria, hallways, detention room, gym, locker room, playground, etc.),
• Assuring that school areas are free of dangerous materials and unauthorized individuals,
• Performing backup clerical duties, as needed,
• Attending staff meetings as required, and
• Other appropriate duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors throughout the school year
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to learn and implement school rules
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with others
• Experience working with students
• Ability to work independently
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
