No Positions Available At This Time - The Following is Information Only: Positions at Crestwood, Inc. vary from machine operation, building (including face frames, drawers, and cabinetry), finishing (such as sanding, staining, and glazing), and booth operation to adding accessory items, packaging, and loading trucks. Helpful Background: Experience with teamwork, good communication, proven good attendance, and attention to detail. Preferred Background: Developed skills with mixing and making finishes, product assembly from detailed drawings, carpentry skills, measurement skills in linear and metric, and CNC machine operation.
Wages: $18.75 Start ($16.75 Base Pay $2.00 / Regular Hour Worked Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day Training Period, Add 1) Certification Pay 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to $2.00 / hour) as new skills are obtained. Additional Growth: Technical Pay for Skilled Positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on achieving specific production targets. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentives are also paid on overtime hours.
Schedules: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (1st Shift)
(2nd Shift - ADD: $1.00 Shift Differential) 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday
*Fridays may be scheduled according to production needs. Range 2 - 8 hours.
Requirements:
- On-the-job training for candidates willing to learn with no experience.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process
- Communicate verbally and in written form.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Follow safety requirements
- Desire to build quality cabinetry
- Willingness to listen to and receive instruction
- A desire to learn and retain information
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Able to remain stationary for long periods
- Willing to learn wood species, finishes (stains and paints), and cabinet parts for assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work effectively and courteously with co-workers
- Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
- Provide regular and consistent attendance - be on time for the work schedule
- Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
- Willingly participate in all training
- Be motivated to achieve production targets and other key performance measures
