Lead the Future of the Premier Private Club in Southeast KS
Crestwood Country Club is seeking an experienced, energetic, and visionary General Manager to lead all aspects of our private country club operations. This is an exciting opportunity to guide a well-established club known for its championship golf course, outstanding dining, family-friendly atmosphere, swimming pool, pickleball courts, tournaments, and year-round social events.The General Manager serves as the club's chief operating officer and is responsible for providing strategic leadership while ensuring exceptional service to members and guests. Working closely with the Board of Directors, department managers, and staff, the General Manager will foster a culture of excellence, financial responsibility, and continuous improvement. The GM will be asked to significantly grow the overall resource base of the club through increased membership levels, the hosting of events that generate revenue, budget optimization, merchandise sales, and fundraising efforts.
Leadership & Club Operations
- Provide overall leadership for all club operations, including golf, food and beverage, clubhouse, events, maintenance and administrative functions.
- Foster a positive, member-focused culture.
- Develope policies, procedures, and strategic initiative.
- Serve as liaison between the Board, members, and staff.
Financial Management
- Develope and administer annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor financial performance and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare regular reports for Board.
Membership & Member Experience
- Promote exceptional member service.
- Support membership recruitment and retention.
- Work with committees to enhance programming.
- Respond promptly to member feedback.
Staff Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor and evaluate staff.
- Build a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and club policies.
