What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance Worker position at Smiley's Golf Complex?
Responsibilities:
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and practice areas.
- Maintain the driving range by picking range balls, operating the ball picker, mowing, sweeping, and keeping the tee line clean and organized.
- Rake bunkers.
- Set cups and tee markers.
- Operate mowers, tractors, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Trim trees and maintain landscaping.
- Assist with irrigation repairs and watering.
- Keep the golf course and driving range clean, safe, and in excellent condition.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Reliable and dependable.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience is helpful but not required.
