Job Description
Marriott Tampa Westshore is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to Marriott standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and Marriott policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and pay attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
