Duties
- Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items with precision, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, grills, and food warmers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, utensils, and food storage spaces.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet stations or self-serve areas.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service.
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure all food is handled safely and stored correctly according to health regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and serving within a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; experience in in-person customer interactions is preferred.
- Ability to handle weight handling tasks in the workplace safely while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
