Are you passionate about impacting the lives of deaf and hard of hearing students? We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Hearing Impaired to join our team to provide exceptional educational services to CREST students and school districts.
Job Responsibilities:
Direct Services and Consultation: Deliver educational services to deaf and hard of hearing students and provide consultation to school districts and educational teams.
Assessments and Reports: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and document progress. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for services in students’ Individualized Education Plans or 504 Plans.
Support and Communication: Offer guidance and support to families, educators, and the community through various channels. Develop and maintain professional relationships to foster collaboration.
Travel: Required to extend your expertise and services to schools and students in different locations.
Stakeholder Presentations: Deliver engaging and informative presentations to various stakeholders, raising awareness and promoting understanding of deaf education and best practices.
Adaptability: Accept additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Director of Programs and District Services Coordinator, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Salary Range: $56637-120096 based on education and experience
