Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Teacher of the DeafHard of Hearing (TODHH) for a school-based position in Lawrence, MA for the 2026–2027 school year.

Teacher of the Deaf Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Adapt curriculum and materials to ensure accessible learning environments
- Use American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modalities as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), special education staff, and related service providers
- Support development of communication, language, and academic skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize assistive technology and adaptive strategies to support student access
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
- Advocate for student needs and promote inclusive educational practices
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts DOE Teacher of the DeafHard of Hearing Certification
- ASL (American Sign Language) proficiency / certification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or related field
- Experience or interest in special education, deaf education, or hearing impairment services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and instructional skills
