About the Role
Our company is actively seeking an Associate, Private Investment Reporting analyst to support the day-to-day maintenance of alternative investments data and complex ownership structures. We are considering candidates in Chicago, Reston, or Atlanta.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for internal data reporting needs across the firm’s investments in private capital
- Maintain and oversee valuation and transaction updates with data derived from multiple sources
- Assist with the integration and reconciliation of large datasets across multiple systems
- Assist with the management and maintenance of data integrity for private investment reporting and other reconciliation processes
- Work with fund administrators and other vendors to establish and verify accuracy of data feeds
- Take initiative to identify and implement scalability & reporting process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics degree preferred
- 1 years of experience in financial services focused on reporting preferably in wealth management
- General knowledge of private equity investments and related fund structures preferred
- Ability to manage and interpret sophisticated and complex data sets
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong ability to quickly learn proprietary software and databases
- Must be a team player willing to contribute to the continual development of the Private Investment Reporting process and overall Cresset Team
- Must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and enhance the business in keeping with Cresset's values and culture
Pay range and compensation package
At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary range: $80,000 - $85,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location. Cresset offers a competitive compensation package including an annual incentive and a benefits package to all full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, health savings accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, voluntary critical and accident insurance, and pre-tax parking and transportation programs.
