We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a leading energy company. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership and successfully delivering complex infrastructure and business unit projects in a regulated utility environment. You will plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale projects and multiple medium-to-small complex initiatives, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong technical direction and leadership to project teams and participants
- Plan, manage, and complete large-scale or multiple complex technical projects within budgetary and scheduling constraints
- Serve as the primary point of contact, maintaining clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders, external customers, and partners
- Oversee contractor workload, performance, and safety compliance
- Deliver regular project status updates to internal and external customers
- Prepare, negotiate, and process project agreements and related documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
- Support storm restoration efforts, including potential travel within and outside the company service territory during emergency events
Requirements:
- 5 years of progressive project management experience, preferably in the energy, utility, or infrastructure sector
- Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects from initiation through completion
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to provide credible direction on engineering and construction-related projects
- Proven experience managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Flexibility to support storm restoration efforts and travel as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related technical field (preferred)
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
Salary : $70 - $75
