Product Data Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Data Product Manager to lead the end-to-end development of data-centric products. This role requires a strong technical background in data engineering combined with excellent stakeholder management and product discovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of data products from discovery through development, launch, and iteration.
• Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and enterprise data priorities.
• Conduct product discovery activities, including user interviews, design workshops, surveys, and usability testing, to validate concepts and gather requirements.
• Partner closely with data engineering, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate insights into high-impact product features.
• Actively manage product backlog, prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility, and drive development efforts.
• Facilitate workshops and effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) and product-level financials to measure success and ROI.
• Create product collateral, including charters, case studies, and executive presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong hands-on data engineering experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and modern data architectures.
• Proven track record leading data product development with clear ownership and active involvement (not just oversight).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to run effective workshops and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data visualization, reporting tools, CI/CD workflows, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
