What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Property Owners Association General Manager position at Crescent Hotels & Resorts?
- Manage the Association's day-to-day operations and administrative functions
- Serve as the primary management contact for the Board and property owners
- Coordinate community maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and capital projects
- Manage vendors, contractors, contracts, bids, and service performance
- Assist with annual budgeting, financial administration, assessments, and invoices
- Support Board meetings, annual meetings, special meetings, elections, and voting
- Maintain Association records, governing documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Assist with enforcement and compliance procedures as directed by the Board
- Coordinate special projects and provide regular updates to the Board
- Communicate proactively regarding operational issues, deadlines, projects, and community needs
Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Experience working with vendors and contractors
- Experience with budgets, invoices, contracts, or financial administration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 5 years of community association management experience
- Texas HOA/POA experience
- Experience managing 500 lots
- Annual association budget and reserve funds
- Experience with special assessments and capital projects
- CAI certification or related professional training
The successful candidate will be a professional, organized, proactive, and service-oriented manager who takes ownership of responsibilities, follows through on commitments, communicates effectively, and knows when to handle an issue independently and when to seek Board direction.
