Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of commercial renovation and construction projects throughout the Southeast. This individual will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, promoting jobsite safety, and serving as the primary field representative for Crescent Facility Services. The ideal candidate is an effective leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily jobsite operations from project mobilization through final completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve field issues.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
- Conduct daily jobsite inspections to monitor safety, quality, and project progress.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, jobsite photos, and project documentation.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, landlords, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Identify and communicate schedule impacts, change conditions, and potential project risks.
- Verify subcontractor work for completeness and quality prior to payment and project closeout.
- Coordinate and facilitate punch list completion, final inspections, and closeout activities.
- Promote and enforce OSHA regulations and Crescent Facility Services safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional construction management education is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman managing commercial construction projects, preferably restaurant remodels, retail renovations, or tenant build-outs.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to prepare daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively/relocate to project locations throughout the Southeast.
