Job Summary
Join Crescent Direct Primary Care team on site as a Family Medicine Medical Assistant, where your energetic support and compassionate patient care will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you will assist the Physician in delivering comprehensive family medicine services across outpatient settings. Your expertise in medical procedures, administrative support, and patient engagement will ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation to monitor patient health status
• Assist with clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care and gynecological procedures and lab specimen handling.
• Manage medical administrative duties like faxing, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and updating patient records
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, and ensuring comfort during visits
• Maintain and manage medical supply inventory and sterilizing and cleaning procedure supplies and rooms.
  

Qualifications

• Proven minimum 1 year experience supporting family medicine or primary care clinics; clinic experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, injection techniques and medication administration protocols. Phlebotomy skills are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork
• Demonstrated ability to handle intake procedures, vital sign collection, and documentation accurately
