Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Human Resources is responsible for the day-to-day execution of core HR operations, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently delivered. This highly hands-on role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, supporting the full employee lifecycle while delivering a positive, well-run employee experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple HR functions simultaneously.
\n- Administer benefits and compensation programs accurately and on schedule.
- Own HRIS, employee records, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Manage leave of absence requests and administration.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Support recruiting efforts, including offer letters, onboarding coordination, and pre-employment requirements.
- Oversee and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions, enrollments, and changes; liaise with benefit providers.
- Manage purchase orders (POs) related to HR operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Act as first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and timely resolution.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by promoting consistent HR practices, and clear communication that reinforces company values.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and documentation for efficiency and employee experience.
- Prepare and maintain routine HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong background in HR operations, ideally in a growing organization.
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences preferred.
- Solid knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$172,000 to $190,000 USD.
