Position Description:
Step into an instrumental role and help ensure the smooth operation of a fast-paced—and friendly—financial planning office in Danvers, MA. This is a full-time, in-person position working as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial.
In this role, you will assist with daily business operations and provide critical administrative support.
The Administrative Assistant supports a wide range of responsibilities that directly tie to the overall business plan of the practice. This role provides the advisor with confidence that the practice is being maintained and supported in alignment with Ameriprise Financial guidelines.
This position includes responsibilities such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, drafting client communications, tracking new business correspondence, and managing day-to-day office operations. You will also support ad hoc requests, coordinate and track projects, and assist with business-as-usual tasks such as filing, copying, troubleshooting office equipment, and organizing client events or seminars.
Responsibilities and Time Allocation

90% Administrative Assistance
- Schedule client appointments and prepare meeting agendas and forms
- Prepare correspondence for advisor signature
- Track all client and practice materials, including business correspondence
- Follow up with the corporate office on related matters
- Conduct client appointment reminder calls and follow-up communications
- Assist planning assistants, associate advisors, and the lead advisors
- Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the advisor
10% Client Care
- Greet clients in the office and provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Set up and maintain the client management system
- Draft administrative letters and notes to clients on behalf of the practice
- Document client interactions and communications
- Track client milestones and special events and coordinate outreach per the client engagement model

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
