Job description:
Seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong technical HRIS expertise, particularly in Workday HCM and large-scale HR system implementations. The role involves data validation, system testing, requirements traceability, training support, and general HRIS system support. This position supports the State of Georgia's implementation of Workday HCM for 70,000 employees, replacing PeopleSoft HCM, and includes business analysis support for integrations, data conversions, and benefits administration.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and resolve data conversion and integration issues, ensuring accurate population of HR and benefits data into Workday.
- Perform detailed data validation, root-cause analysis, and documentation of findings.
- Provide technical support for HRIS maintenance, enhancements, and system troubleshooting.
- Deliver Tier-2 user support to HR and business users.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, translating functional needs into technical requirements.
- Support HR functions including Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Talent (Recruiting & Performance), and Core HR.
- Assist in testing, requirements traceability, and training preparation during Workday implementation phases.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or data tools.
- Demonstrated experience implementing complex HRIS integrations.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize large Workday environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Experience supporting system users and documenting resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience implementing or administering HRIS systems.
- Direct experience with large-scale HR data conversions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience administering Workday Benefits with multiple integration partners.
- Experience supporting large enterprise HR system integrations.
- Experience administering PeopleSoft HCM.
- Experience supporting technology in the public sector.
